Private Testnet
The Orbinum Private Testnet is a closed, invitation-based testing phase limited to 100 participants. Its purpose is to validate the core functionality of the network under real conditions — privacy operations, selective disclosure, and identity management — before the Public Testnet opens.
Participation is rewarded with ORB Credits that convert to real ORB tokens at mainnet launch.
Recruitment Deadline: March 31, 2026 (23:59 UTC).
Objective
The Private Testnet is not a general stress test. It targets the three core features that define Orbinum as a privacy-first Layer 1:
Test the shielded transaction lifecycle: Shield (move funds into the private pool), Transfer (send privately between shielded accounts), and Unshield (withdraw back to a public address).
Test the ability to generate and share a verifiable proof of a transaction or balance without exposing the full account state. Disclosure is opt-in and controlled by the account owner.
Test account management operations: creating and managing Orbinum accounts, setting up Private Links (off-chain address associations that are never written on-chain), and verifying identity layer behavior.
Each participant is expected to execute and report on these operations using the provided testnet tools. The core team will monitor outcomes and collect structured feedback.
How to Get a Slot
Access is limited to 100 participants selected through two mechanisms. Selection is based on the ORB Credits leaderboard at the time of the March 31st snapshot.
50 slots — Top Referrers
The top 50 accounts by ORB Credits at the snapshot date receive guaranteed access and the "Genesis Tester" title.
50 slots — Golden Ticket Raffle
The remaining 50 slots are raffled among all registered accounts not in the top 50.
- Every 10 ORB Credits grants 1 additional raffle ticket, increasing your probability of selection.
- Accounts with 0 credits receive 1 base ticket.

If the whitelist does not reach the expected number of participants by March 31st, the recruitment period will be extended until the target is met. Any extension will be announced in advance through official channels.
The wallet address connected during registration is permanently linked to your account. It will be used to grant testnet access and deliver all on-chain rewards, including Tester Badges and your final airdrop allocation.
Changing your registered wallet after signup is not supported. Use a wallet you own, control, and plan to actively use throughout the testnet.
Rewards
Tester Badge (On-chain NFT)
Every participant who completes the Private Testnet tasks receives an exclusive on-chain Tester Badge. This non-transferable NFT grants a 1.2x multiplier on your final ORB Credits conversion at mainnet — meaning your accumulated credits are worth 20% more ORB than a standard account.
$100 USDC Pool
To mark the start of the Private Testnet, a $100 USDC pool is distributed among the top referrers at the March 31st snapshot:

ORB Airdrop Share
All participants who hold ORB Credits at the pre-mainnet snapshot receive a proportional share of the Airdrops & Awards allocation (5% — 50M ORB) when mainnet launches. The Tester Badge multiplier is applied at this stage.

Participation Rules
Orbinum enforces strict integrity checks throughout all testnet phases. The following actions result in permanent disqualification with no possibility of reinstatement:
- Fraudulent or self-referrals
- Wallet duplication or Sybil attacks
- Automated signups or bot activity
- Any mechanism intended to artificially inflate credits or referral counts
Multiple on-chain and off-chain detection mechanisms are active throughout the campaign. Disqualification decisions are final.
