Private Testnet
The Orbinum Private Testnet is a closed, invitation-based testing phase limited to 100 participants. Its purpose is to validate the core functionality of the network under real conditions — privacy operations, selective disclosure, and identity management — before the Public Testnet opens.
Participation is rewarded with ORB Credits that convert to real ORB tokens as part of the Season 1: Genesis Community airdrop pool. Every participant who completes the full whitelist process — including email verification — starts with 3 ORB Credits as their base contribution.

Objective
The Private Testnet is not a general stress test. It targets the three core features that define Orbinum as a privacy-first Layer 1:
Test the shielded transaction lifecycle: Shield (move funds into the private pool), Transfer (send privately between shielded accounts), and Unshield (withdraw back to a public address).
Test the ability to generate and share a verifiable proof of a transaction or balance without exposing the full account state. Disclosure is opt-in and controlled by the account owner.
Test account management operations: creating and managing Orbinum accounts, setting up Private Links (off-chain address associations that are never written on-chain), and verifying identity layer behavior.
Each participant is expected to execute and report on these operations using the provided testnet tools. The core team will monitor outcomes and collect structured feedback.
How to Get a Slot
Access is limited to 100 participants, split 50/50 between the most active referrers and a general raffle. Selection is directly tied to the Referral System and your total ORB Credits at the time of the March 31st snapshot.
Participation is governed by the same Rules & Integrity standards as the Referral System. Any form of Sybil attack or fraudulent referrals results in immediate disqualification from the selection process.
50 slots — Top Referrers (50%)
The top 50 accounts by ORB Credits receive guaranteed access to the Private Testnet and the "Genesis Tester" title.
50 slots — Golden Ticket Raffle (50%)
The remaining 50 slots are raffled among all other registered accounts.
- Every 10 ORB Credits grants 1 additional raffle ticket, increasing your probability.
- Accounts with 0 credits receive 1 base ticket.
The wallet address connected during registration is permanently linked to your account. It will be used to grant testnet access and deliver all rewards, including Tester Badges and your final airdrop allocation.
Changing your registered wallet after signup is not supported. Use a wallet you own, control, and plan to actively use throughout the testnet.
